APSR OPEN SOURCE LICENSE (AOSL)

This license applies to the APSR project based on the work of Martin Kluge
and Maik Pfeil.

The APSR project is a network testing suite, designed to send, receive
and analyze arbitrary network packets on different kinds of networks
(Ethernet, TokenRing, ATM, ...). It can be used to test firewalls,
routing, security and many other network aspects.
The project is splitted in different single programs which are (will be)
connected via a powerfull IPC (interproccess communication).
The main goal of the APSR project is to develop a high quality network
testing suite.

The license covers (but is not limited to) documentation, source code and
binary code in every form which includes (but is not limited to) written
and digital forms of the whole APSR project.


LICENSE TERMS:


1. You may download and distribute the unmodified APSR source code, the
   APSR documentation and all other work which is related to the APSR project
   for free and non-commercial use, but with the following limitations:

   a) You MAY NOT distribute a MODIFIED version of the APSR project
      without PRIOR WRITTEN PERMISSIONS from

      AND

      Maik Pfeil   <maik dot pfeil at aa dash security dot de>


   b) You MAY charge a small fee for the physical act of transferring a copy
      of the APSR project.


   c) You MAY NOT use the APSR project in any commercial enviroment.
      If you're interested in using the project in a commercial enviroment

      for special commercial licences.


   d) You MAY NOT include the APSR project or parts of the APSR project in

   e) You MUST include this license if you redistribute the APSR project.


2. You may not copy, modify, sublicense or distribute the APSR project
   except as provided under the APSR OPEN SOURCE LICENSE (AOSL).


3. NO WARRANTY! There is no warranty at all for the whole APSR project.

   The entire risk as to the quality and performance is with you.
   Should the APSR project (or ANY parts of it) cause damage which includes 
   (but is not limited to) data loss, stoppage or loss of money,
   you assume the cost of all necessary servicing, repair or correction.


4. Everyone who wants to use the APSR project MUST accept this license,
   otherwise he/she is NOT ALLOWED to use the APSR project (or parts of
   the project)
