How can I help you?
We want to test APSR on different operating systems and on different hardware. You can help us in the following ways:
- Send us sample pcap/iptrace/snoop/other logfiles of interesting network traffic for testing purposes (please make sure that you didn't capture any passwords!).
- Send us hardware (computers, network equipment like routers/switches)
- Send us different operating systems (win95/98/2000/nt/xp, Linux, MacOS, Aix, HP-UX, BSDs (Free, Net, Open), BSDi, QNX, ...)
- Provide remote access to different operating systems
- Sponsor some money
- Submit bug reports

Please contact martin.kluge@aa-security.de for further information.

We'd like to thank http://www.bintec.de for providing us with two of their X4300 multiprotocol routers for testing purposes.
The routers have 1x10/100 BaseT Auto-Sensing, 2xserial X.21/V.35/V.36, 1xISDN BRI S/T, 1xRS232 ports and 1 free slot for 2 expansion cards (for 60 digitalmodems for example). The routers are based on the Motorola MPC860T RISC CPU, they have 16MB SDRAM and 4MB FlashRom (for software images and configuration files) and the basic configuration can be done using the serial console or via the 122x132 pixel LCD display.

Supported protocols are Ethernet, (Proxy)ARP, IPv4, (triggered) RIPv1/v2, BOOTP, DHCP, OSPF, Bridging (spanning tree and transparent mode), QoS (priorities, shaping, optimized queue handling), PPP (PAP, CHAP, MS-CHAPv1/v2, ML-PPP, PPPoE), HDLC (raw, cisco, X.75), CAPI, Frame Relay (X.21, V.35, V.36), IP over X.25, PAD (X.3, X.28, X.29), IPSEC, H.323, SNMP.

We also would like to thank Internet Provider Wiesbaden (IPW) for providing us with a Bay Networks Centillion 100 ATM switch with 4 155MBit ATM ports and 16 10MBit Ethernet ports for testing purposes.
